The cluster includes a technopark and an industrial zone. The technopark will consist of a Pharmaceutical Technical University, research centers and laboratories, a pharmacopoeia center, educational and scientific laboratories, a vivarium, and other facilities. Among the main objectives of the cluster is the development of the pharmaceutical industry through the introduction of know-how and advanced technologies, utilizing international expertise.
The distance between Tashkent city center and Tashkent Pharma Park is approximately 20–25 kilometers by car.
Tashkent Pharma Park Event LocationAs part of the 6th Eurasian Pharmaceutical Summit, participants will have a unique opportunity to visit the new Grand Pharm Logistics Hub – one of the largest and most advanced distribution complexes in the region, inaugurated at the end of 2024.
The hub is located in the Zangiota district of Tashkent region, within the innovative Tashkent Pharma Park cluster. The complex covers an area of 10 hectares, with warehouse facilities of more than 50,000 m². The total investment in the project amounts to $40 million.
Its infrastructure includes a three-story administrative building, modern warehouses, a hotel, a canteen, a dormitory for staff, parking, and technical services for freight transport. More than 300 jobs have been created on site.
A strong focus has been placed on digitalisation: all warehouse and export-import operations are fully automated using SAP. Air-cooling systems ensure compliance with temperature requirements even during loading. The hub is certified in line with GDP and GSP standards and holds licenses for customs warehousing and international freight transportation.
Today, logistics routes have already been established with Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, and several European countries. In addition, the hub hosts the GPH Academy educational initiative, aimed at training pharmaceutical industry professionals.
